Top afrobeats female artist, Lisa Yaro has just released a new video called "Yaro". The highly anticipated new music video features Zlatan and is already getting positive reviews from LA, NY and Nigerian afrobeats tastemakers abroad. The music video features Yaro and Zlatan engaged in an episode with police and Zlatan remaining in holding while Yaro longs for his return.
The new Lisa Yaro and Zlatan song starts off with Yaro making the track familiar as she starts singing "Yaro Yaro" while the guitar player hammers notes faintly behind her. After the first measure with Yaro introducing the verse, horns come in that give the song an almost "Fela" like feel that is familiar to Afrobeats enthusiasts who have been in the genre before the term became popular. She has truly made a hit with this song choosing to go with a more traditional sound that can still be played in the club or in the car.
